Student Wellbeing
At Sandpn Public School, we believe student wellbeing and learning are deeply connected. We are committed to ensuring every student feels safe, valued, and ready to learn. No matter if your child needs support with their mental, emotional, social, or physical wellbeing, we’re here to help them grow, succeed, and thrive both at school and in everyday life.
How we support student wellbeing
Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.
We achieve this through:
- Caring teachers who make every student feel welcome and included
- Ready access to school counsellors, psychologists, and specialist staff
- Engaging programs that promote health, social skills, regular attendance, and positive behaviour
- Special support for students who are new or moving between year levels
- Clear expectations that encourage respectful behaviour and relationships
- Dedicated staff who take the time to know each child and work closely with families
- Personalised health care plans tailored to students’ needs
- Focused lessons and programs to deepen understanding of wellbeing
- Open and honest communication about wellbeing and available support
At our school, we are proud to provide a nurturing and supportive environment where every student’s wellbeing is valued and actively cared for.
